HF test?

Hi Rick

I'm encouraged by our VHF test - that was really neat for me to get that validation !

If you have a few moments in the next few weeks I'd love to try a prearranged HF test!

My website W7BRO.com has a panel that indicates good and poor bands In real time http://www.w7bro.com/

Can I suggest you pick a frequency, mode (USB or LSB) and a date/time?

I'm currently in Suffolk VA camping now and will be back in Tappers Friday. It really does not matter when... anything that suits you!

I've not had a successful HF comms yet so I'm not holding my breath. It may be a no go! But it's worth a try!

Thanks... David

Galabya Party

Today we went to a temple in the morning that was another amazing expierience! Later we went to a Nubian village. There were camels everywhere! While we were there we visited a school and one of the teachers taught as the Arabic alphabet and numbers. He also taught us the Nubian numbers. He would go around and ask people to identify the symbol...Rebecca was called on and did not know the answer. The teacher made her stand up and also almost hit her until,of course, he wasnt allowed to. Tonight is our Galabya party. We all our wearing Galabya dresses and listening to Egyptian music. :)

Lunch

Egypt has been wonderful so far! Yesterday we saw the valley of the kings, the valley of the gueens and Hatshetsut temple. A sand storm came up and I think everyone was relieved when we checked in to the boat and took showers! We learned how to say no thank you in arabic which came handy! The food is wonderful and I'm about to go enjoy some now! Until next time...

Betsy blogging

Betsy is practicing posting to our site.
I hope everyone will post lots of comments and pictures.
Today we leave for Egypt! Hearts in our stomachs, sun block lathered, and cameras at the ready! What perilous adventures we are about to undertake are unknown to man! I could be exaggerating but you never know! With our mentors as guides and the sand dunes as our maps we are ready to embark where no man has gone before....ok well at least we've never been there before. Till next time my faithful readers! Remember me as I was!
